Zuidenwind is a cooperative of citizens who want to bring a sustainable society closer. The cooperative was founded in 2011, has over 800 members and works mainly in the South of the Netherlands. The main goal of the cooperative is: to realize more wind energy. They do this together with the local population. The returns from the windmills flow to the local community and the members of the cooperative.

More and more organizations such as Zuidenwind hold their General Members Meeting as a hybrid meeting. Voters have the option to come to the location of the meeting. However, they can also follow the meeting online and cast their vote online.
