Corona Emergency Act: Online meetings and decision-making in any case until February 1, 2022

The Corona Emergency Act, which entered into force with retroactive effect on March 16, 2020, now runs until February 1, 2022 (now called the Corona Act).

You can choose to hold a meeting electronically until February 1, 2022. Even if this is not guaranteed in the articles of association. The Corona emergency law is extended by 2 months each time. The general expectation is that there will also be an extension after February 1, 2022, so that electronic meetings and decisions can continue for the time being.

In order to make digital meetings and voting possible in the future, it may be wise to adjust the articles of association.
